Google Admin | Reset a User’s Password

Sign in to the Google Admin Console.

  1. Click Directory on the left side bar menu
  2. In the search bar at the top, type in the name of the user
  3. Click on their name when it pops up
    1. Under the User’s name on their profile, click on  RESET PASSWORD

  1. We recommend that you select the Create password and use dinopass.com or any other password suggestion sites.
  2. Check the box for Ask user to change their password when they sign in.
  3. Click RESET at the bottom right of the pop up.

  1. Give the new temporary password  to the user to log in. Let them know they will be prompted to change their password when they sign in.
