Jeff Patterson

Jeff Patterson is an accomplished leader in educational technology with a career spanning over two decades in technology management, software engineering, and innovation. Currently serving as President of K12 Montana Inc as well as President and Chief Innovator of K12Panel.com, he has been instrumental in tech services and developing a web-based SaaS platform tailored to the needs of K-12 institutions. His work emphasizes streamlining technology management, reducing infrastructure complexity, and enhancing collaboration and security through cloud-based, zero-trust architectures. Jeff’s passion for education is evident in his dedication to empowering schools and districts with practical, cost-effective solutions that align with their mission and values. His efforts with K12 Montana Inc. and META reflect his commitment to advancing technology in education to foster a modern and inclusive learning environment.
With a strong foundation in computer science from Montana State University-Bozeman, Jeff has held leadership roles across various sectors, including Nike and Best Buy, before focusing on K-12 education. As a former Director of Instructional and Information Technology for Great Falls Public Schools, he developed technology roadmaps, managed budgets, and introduced 21st-century learning tools. His entrepreneurial ventures, such as Schoolhouse IT and EduEcoSystems, further demonstrate his expertise in system integration and innovation. A certified Fiber Optics Technician and Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator, Jeff’s technical skills complement his strategic leadership abilities, making him a transformative figure in reshaping the role of technology in education.

Russ Hendrickson has dedicated over 30 years to public education in Montana. He began his career as a math and computer science teacher before transitioning into school administration, where he held various leadership roles in both technology and building operations.
At Corvallis School District, Russ served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and district Technology Director. He later joined Missoula County Public Schools, beginning as the Senior Information Systems Manager in the technology department and finishing his career as an assistant principal at Washington Middle School. He then joined the K12 Montana team where he currently serves as Vice President.
Russ is also an active consultant for Cognia, providing support in educational practice and curriculum development for school districts across Montana, Colorado, and North Dakota. A respected leader in educational technology, Russ served as President of META and as the Montana Chair of the national CoSN Council. In 2017, he was honored with both the NCCE Outstanding Technology Leader of the Year award and the Montana Technologist of the Year award. He has presented at numerous state and national conferences and led professional development sessions throughout Montana. Russ’s broad experience offers a unique blend of expertise in technology, school administration, curriculum, assessment, and instruction.

Brandon Brewster

Brandon Brewster is an experienced professional specializing in technology and account managemen. With a strong background in IT, he has worked as a Network Technician gaining expertise in technical support and network management. His leadership experience includes roles as an Operations Team Manager at FCR and a Retail Store Manager at GameStop, where he honed his skills in team management and customer service. Brandon's diverse experience reflects his ability to adapt and excel in both technical and managerial capacities. Brandon holds advanced technical certifications in Verkada technologies.
